2012 Conference Antwerp (English)
This upcoming November, Antwerp is the place-to-be for investigative journalists from Belgium, Holland and beyond. On November 16-17, the VVOJ, the Dutch-Flemish Association for Investigative Journalists, is due to hold its annual conference. This year, the VVOJ is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark this event, the annual conference, hosted by the Plantijn Hogeschool in Antwerp, will have a festive and international character.
The conference is open to all journalists (proof of journalist status may be asked upon registration). As always, the VVOJ offers attractive early-bird registration fees for those journalists who register on time. Journalism students pay special reduced student fees (€ 99, excluding celebration dinner). The regular fee is € 210. Special datajournalism day on November 15: 30€ for conference participants.
It is possible to cancel your registration until 6 weeks before the conference. Between six to two weeks before the conference, you will be charged 50 percent of the conference fee. During the final two weeks before the conference, it is no longer possible to cancel. However, you may request to transfer your registration to someone else. This is only possible following explicit permission from our office secretariat, which must be arranged ahead of the conference (mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call +31 30 – 219 30 11). The cancellation fee is 25 euro (administrative expenses).
The VVOj offers reduced fees for editorial boards who join our conference with 5 people or more.
The online registration has been closed. From Tuesday 13 November 00.00 hrs on only VVOJ members can register for the VVOJ Conference 2012 in Antwerp. Please contact email@example.com or report at the registration desk Friday morning November 16 at Lange Nieuwstraat 101 in Antwerp. You need to pay in cash.
