The next annual VVOJ Conference is due to take place Friday November 18 and Saturday November 19 2011. This time the Fontys Hogeschool in Eindhoven is hosting the VVOJ.

At the Friday night dinner, the VVOJ will announce the winners of the annual De Loep awards. These are the association’s awards for the best productions of investigative journalism in the Netherlands and Belgium Dinner and the award ceremony are scheduled to take place in the PSV football stadium.

Until conference in November 2011, this website will be updated regularly. Starting September, you can find the first program information about the conference, as well as a list of suggested hotels and a road planner.

Expenses
Already decided you want to participate in the biggest annual event for investigative journalists in Belgium and the Netherlands? Then take advantage of the special early bird fee! VVOJ-members who register before August 15 pay only 175 euros.

The regular fee for members (after August 15) is 210 euros. Editorial teams of five people and more may contact our office manager to discuss options for reduced conference fees.

Not a member of the VVOJ (it’s just 35 euros per year!) pay 420 euros for the annual conference. Journalism students who are VVOJ-members or who register as members, pay only 99 euros (excluding the Friday night dinner).

Conference registration
The registration-form has been closed. If you haven’t registered yet and you’d like to attend the conference, please contact the VVOJ by mail.

Cancellation
NB: Conference registration can be cancelled free of charge – aside from a 25 euro administrative fee – until six weeks before the conference is scheduled to take place. Between six to two weeks before the conference, 50 percent of the conference fees will be reimbursed. From two weeks before the conference onwards, no reimbursement takes place. However, you may transfer your participation ticket to someone else provided you have discussed it with our office manager at secretariaat@vvoj.nl or by phone on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 09:00 and 18:00 hours: +31- 88 – 4813011).

Group fees
Editorial boards that wish to participate with five people or more may contact our office manager to discuss possible reduced fees.
